The Wadworth Brewery Experience lasts approximately two and a half hours and is

available all year round at 11am and 2pm Monday to Saturday. Sundays are available for group bookings on request.

Your journey begins with a steep climb to the top of the Victorian tower and follows the gravitational brewing process down through 4 floors. In complete contrast the next stop is the 21st century Copper house to see how technology has developed, and then a short walk to visit Devizes' most famous residents, our handsome working Shire horses* (provided they are not on their annual August holiday). Next we take a look around our in-house sign writing studio where all the signs for our 260 pubs are hand painted in the traditional way. A visit to our on-site Cooperage* before making our way to the Visitor Centre’s Sample Bar for a tutored beer tasting session of our hand crafted ales.

Wadworth Brewery Guided Tours

Important information:

The Wadworth brewery tour contains steep stairs, uneven & wet floors, low ceilings and may prove difficult for some visitors.
The brewery tour is unsuitable for wheelchairs and sensible clothing and footwear is recommended.
Soft drinks are available if preferred and for visitors under the age of 18.
Child rates apply to children under 18 years of age when accompanied by a parent or guardian.
Due to Health and Safety enforcements children under the age of 12 are not permitted on the brewery tour.
Wadworth is a working brewery and restrictions may be in force on some occasions.
The Shire Horses, Cooper and Sign writing visits can not be guaranteed unless booked in advance.
We regret that we currently only conduct tours in English. We do not recommend that you partake in the full tour if you do not have a comprehensive understanding of the English language as there is a lot of technical

information to take in.
